Kpop was doing just fine before BTS. Better I'd say cause more groups had a chance to be heard and recognized.
An even playing field is much better for kpop.

If you really cared about your faves, you wouldn't be so fixated on BTS and their downfall. I mean who cares about who's the #1 group? As long as your faves are making good music and doing well, then there's no reason why you would have to "anticipate their downfall".
There are many 2nd and 3rd gen stans who mind their business without batting an eye at any BTS related things. I think you should do the same thing as well or just put the people who annoy you on ignore. Life will be better that way.

We grew so much bigger than before, and there is more room for everyone because of this.

Sounds good on paper but BTS and BP are the reason I can't find a new girl group to get into. Cause everybody is just trying to copy them and that is not for me.
So yeah I got some beef with them.

One reminder: South Korea's government didn't care about any kpop Artist's enlistment ever in South Korea's whole history except the BTS.
If I am not wrong BTS contributed $5 billion last year & more than 3% in whole GDP of South Korea. At this moment, South Korea needs BTS. BTS has been given the title of "South Korea's national treasure" by the South Korea itself for a reason.
And as an Army, I always have the gut feeling, BTS will go to Service together. The persons who can't even stay for 1 month without being sad with the absence of 1 member, how will they survive 18 months! Didn't click a single group photo without yoongi's cut out.
After 2 yrs from now, when it will happen kpopie will have the bitter reality check. And if our boys prepare 2 allbums before going, Army won't be starve for content. So Afobangfo. IMG_20210217_022826.jpg
