what she said. no matter how much hybe is trying to minimalise their dependency on bts, they are still reliant on bts to bring in (most of) their income.

i think many already expected this though, so no big revelations here.

SM was for free on the day when everyone was home with a hangover.

But you can’t compare the two concerts and call a paid concert on the eve of New Years eve a flop.

And a free concert the day after is of course a hit. Ngl it was great and I’m not against SM at all. I paid to see Kai😎.

This clearly shows that majority of ARMYs are not Hybe stans. And any accomplishments from other Hybe groups come from them and their fans and not ARMYs.

they became too brave after seeing BTS online concert profits. Yeah JB is a big act but he doesn't have huge fandom anymore. And GP would never pay hefty prices for an online concert. As for the other artists, this might sound cold but they aren't that big to bring in the numbers needed.

as for JB, people like his singles but don’t really care for his entire albums. As a casual listener I wouldn’t pay for his concert cause I don’t know or care for most of his other stuff. Plus he’s not a good performer…. barely can sing live and his dancing is not great. His biggest asset is that he’s a relatively attractive white dude who can somewhat sing and dance… mediocre but since he’s white it’s okay.

that's the point! I'm pretty sure they paid JB a lot to appear on this concert, but have they ever gave a thought about whether people would actually pay to watch his online performance? BH made bad decisions, hence the concert resulted in losses.

How can they sell online ticket to ifans by putting unknown artist to set list.

Who want to pay to watch unknown solo artist from BH/Pledis/Koz.

I bet they can sell way more online ticket if the drop all the solo artist.

hope they think twice before holding fam cons again.....i paid more than 50 dollars for just half an hour of svt and i paid a similar amount for 3 hours of svt's online concert....felt that it was a bit of a pity...

I got the really cheap ticket last minute, saw fine, and enjoyed it (went off for a cuppa during Biebs), but I didn’t even know it was happening until I saw dryheat post about it the night before. Anyway, no surprise it did not pull great numbers.
