Leaders are the most important members who represent the group, right. In groups that are successful, the leader always stands out and balances the group. Moreover, they work the hardest to communicate with fans. But my bias group’s leader isn’t like that.

Instead, he/she communicates least with the fans, is less skilled and competent than the other members, and doesn’t know how to liven the mood. He/she is quiet timid so doesn’t take action but instead actually pushes other members to the front as the leader – it’s honestly annoying. It even makes me wish that they’d switch the leader~ Though that probably wouldn’t happen…

Are leaders of other groups good at their role? I’m envious of groups that have been given a good leader

    1. [+530][-216] First of all, our leader is RM

    2. [+409][-143] I’m happy that it’s RM

    3. [+214][-3] Leaders aren’t picked that easily. If the other members take care of the leader, doesn’t that mean they’re playing their role as a leader well in a way that fans might not know about? Does a leader absolutely need to be extroverted… My bias group’s leader is also introverted, but the members and fans have never had complaints towards them. They’re in charge of rap so they also write their own parts

[+44][-1] For real, quiet kids usually do well without complaints as leaders

    [+19][-2] This seems like S-Coups

    4. [+122][-18] Eh, Seo Eunkwang’s not in the comments..ㅠ I seriously think that Seo Eunkwang is the prime example of a leader

    5. [+97][-16] BTS RM, TWICE Jihyo and (G)I-DLE Soyeon – these three come to mind

    6. [+90][-2] I’d understand this man if he went live whilst drinking soju and announced he was leaving the group

    7. [+67][-65] How about a group where the leader is a misogynistㅠㅠ?

    8. [+65][-12] RM and Jun Soyeon – I think they really chose good leaders here

Kinda understanding it if the leader really does zero for the group but as fans I doubt we would really see everything about him. A leader can be quiet and a good leader too. Maybe he pushing the other members forward to give them attention? This person really doesn’t like the leader at all saying how he isn’t good at anything.

I'm wondering who they were talking about along with comment 7.

  • Who is comment #7 about?

I think it's about RM and the War of Hormone controversy

If you don't know, War of Hormone (a BTS song) has been called out for it's misogynistic lyrics. BTS and Bighit apologized and have been releasing feminist anthems ever since. Now Rm is more careful and checks his lyrics with women's studies specialists. I'm sure commenter 7 doesn't know that or doesn't care. Seeing as they are only using it to bring down RM and bringing it up in a post that has nothing to do with that conversation. Performative activism at it's finest

Eh, I wouldn't call him a misogynist even then, let alone now. There's a reason why all the top comments were naming him as the best leader. People are jealous if that's about him.

but WOH is just about teenage boys talking about their rising hormones. I would not call it misogynism tho :pepestare:

  • Man is in late 20s and has changed positively so much yet things that happened while he was a teenager are brought up again and again to taunt him by his antis

swear to god it's always the people who know next to nothing about him and BTS that are always so damn loud.

he has proven time and time again he's such a humble leader and supports not only the boys and the fans, but many different communities too.

just goes to show that people are willing to overlook everything and learn nothing positive as long as it pleases their confirmation bias.
