So I searched up computer programming languages and the top searched ones where JavaScript and Python.

Poor guitars! But my brother is actually using one of them and actually learning the guitar (which is typical of him, bcz he is like that). Also, that is pretty cool of Yamaha to do that!

But the correct answer as you said, is fuck it. Why would you bother with thousand of registration just because people click too many times.
So lesson one, for everybody else btw.
The users are not always right.
Just because they hit register for a site several times because their internet is crap, does not mean there are other users trying to register for the same site, using the same account.

yeah slowly we're teaching him stuff like logic and hopefully he takes an interest in coding one day
if you're teaching him logic he could also be a lawyer, it's the same mindset.

There is huge merit in knowing plain vanilla Javascript FIRST though! IMO of course
So when I joined my company I only knew vanilla.
But my company was using a script.
Knowing vanilla helped, but knowing scripts helps more.

You did it right then. Of course knowing all the flavors helps, but you need the proper basis. One of the biggest problems I've encountered working with coders who know only a certain JS library and NOT plain vanilla is teaching them the underlying logic instead of them relying on shortcuts - cause it may not exist the same way in all JS libraries etc. It tends to make them inflexible and worse BIASED because they only know their own flavor and that is incredibly limiting when JS moves and evolves as fast as it does.

the different codings...like for example in the disscussions between you and ves I understand the different codes in name only and that they are somewhat different but why not start from scratch and explain like the major codes and their differences?

i agree, it's very hard to move from native JS to a script. Been there
