Do you think the groups that get talked about most here are the ones that are most popular overall? The ones that don't get talked about here are not popular overall? Are there other places where you talk about your faves because there aren't that many fellow fans here, but you find them elsewhere? Or do you feel that some groups don't get talked about much, but lots of people just quietly enjoy their music?
Do you feel like the fans on AKP are representative of the kpop community as a whole?

but on a majority basis, yes akp is pretty representative of how majority of kpop community thinks and acts

I don't think AKP shows a good representation on popularity.
Like we don't see people talking about 2nd Gen groups, but they are still widely popular individually. Many new fans on this forum won't recognise some 2nd gen idols, but those idols made a huge name for themselves and are widely popular in Korea
Generally just because a group is talked less on AKP doesnt mean it is less popular.

certain fandoms just stick to themselves on certain platforms while being loud on others
its the groups that have the majority of fans that are loud everywhere and those groups are representated well by AKP users ( and also other similar mentality stuff among kpop fans in general )

Pretty much. It has always seemed to me that this site was a BTS and BP site as they are the groups most talked about and threads on. In the time I was a fan of SJ and SHINee especially on the old forum, hardly anyone talked about them at all as they weren't considered popular or in vogue anymore. Fads come and go here and people can be fickle but it can become a bit one sided for fans of lesser groups that don't get much exposure.
