I have noticed a lot of blinks seek army validation which is weird imo. Like recently butter remix was accidentally added to lisa playlist and removed right after but countless threads weren’t made on akp about this because armys genuinely don’t care
But if BTS should in any way interact unintentionally with BP, blinks are the first to make threads on it or try to make it trend on twitter

Extreme exaggeration : fans think that just because they hate an idol (because of jealousy or insecurity or fandom rivalry) it somehow means that that idol is suddenly a horrible human being and should be vilified and mistrusted (often for no reason), therefore, their faves shouldn't interact with that idol.
It's mainly because they aren't competing for the same market. Twice has Japan with the cute concept while BTS has the west with their "BTS concept". Each has their own thing and don't really clash. While BTS and BP have similar markets that they are aiming for. Another thing is the articles that came out about BP being above BTS since they broke the YT views with D4. I think neither fandom liked each other to start with but that was really made worse with the 2018 articles and the media play YG did with BP. Another thing is that BP are probably the most hated group in kpop period. I don't think there are many big fandoms that get along with them. With all the rumors surrounding Jennie and everything, the group just isn't liked within kpop.

Blinks like to conveniently forget these kind of stuff. Any slightly bp related link with bts gets amplified 10 times (a member possibly singing a bp song, a member adding a song,..) but most people wont even know about the other way around bc it doesn't matter. Jennie doesn't deserve any hate, but blinks are taking any opportunity to drag bts (too) & act like its all one sided.

BTS and twice share the Japan market and unlike the west BTS and twice were actually sharing records. Before dynamite happened, they were equal competitors in the Japanese market and yet the two fandoms are relatively peaceful with each other compared to blinks who has Not yet even touched the records BTS made as a 4 year old group

True. Jennie doesn’t deserve any hate coming from both sides. So does Taehyung. It’s just toxic stans from both sides being petty over an unintentional mistake and I hope we just bury this and move on

Currently my tl has moved on from this but also remember that Tae had one of the biggest solo akgaes so don’t expect armys to own up to their crap. We don’t like them either
I didn’t saw anybody being desperate in that Thread. 
Everything seemed fine until some users didn’t like seeing implications that BTS and BP could really be friends with each other. I don’t think anyone was serious in that Thread until this was taken serious by others. I personally don’t think it’s wrong, at least it wasn’t implied that they are dating.
So my conclusion is that some of you just don’t like seeing BTS and BP in a friendly interactive way.
A part of one side wishes they never interact and don't know each other in private while the other wishes they're best friends and combs through every interaction trying to prove it. I remember someone seriously posting shipping videos to prove bts were best friends and I just sat and watched in confusion.
