its more on bp being the odd one bc twice is following snsd steps of n1 gg to meh to ehh, I guess thats the path of every ngg as the gp fall in love with their early concept and when they move on to other things they said: ehh not so much

I'm kind of confused by this post, by what metric are you saying Blackpink "dethroned Twice"? Do you mean because Blackpink is popular internationally and did Coachella? That was possible because kpop had made more inroads in the US by this time by groups like BTS, if 2NE1 debuted now it would be the same for them. YG groups tend to have a more hip hop inspired "western" sound whereas cuter groups like Twice and SNSD do better in Asia. Both got the "Nation's Girl Group" title for the same reason. I don't think a girl crush/hip hop group would get that title no matter how popular they were.
I love all four groups a lot, but I don't think any girl group so far has done as much as SNSD in terms of popularizing girl groups both in Korea and abroad, or is as talented. Think of all the powerhouse vocals in that group.

snsd has better promos than twice until now twice doesn’t have solo we don’t even know they might be still stronger today if they have solos we never know cuz of that gorilla

Yeah, 2nd gen was a big transition period in my opinion. Of course, they were also standing on the shoulders of giants. If it wasn't for BoA and DBSK, SNSD wouldn't have had any money to debut, and no companies would have had the courage to venture outside of Korea even to Japan. But 2nd gen was just packed with so many mega talented idols who made the blueprint for future groups and added a lot of fuel to the hallyu wave.

Yeah, people forget that 2NE1 had much better digital charting in Korea than SNSD from 2011 on, maybe even 2010.

what is that pinnacle?
Probably widespread public recognition in a way that transcended their music and scandals, which SNSD had a lot of. People laugh all they want, but the "ugly" members, Sunny, Sooyoung (ESPECIALLY SOOYOUNG), Hyoyeon actually hard carried public perception through the variety shows. Back then, variety was smaller but also more centralized, and shows like Yashimannan, Star Golden Bell, really brought SNSD up as people.
Strong Heart hit so big with SNSD.
Remember SNSD had more damaging scandals than the likes of Twice.
Sistar had a smaller effect (but still important) with ISAC, like Bora KILLED it that day.
This was something out of many that helped them a lot -- even the weaker variety members meshed in well.
