As a MY myself this cant be decided yet, mainly because there's a lot more 4th gen groups to debut including SMboy group, I think in the big 3/4 Yeah SM usually has the best vocals but this is where I lose my bias side cause ya'll better go stream weeekly and Stayc and secret number Live............. Competition is FIERCEE

No, it’s more like being an SM artist you’re bound to get your vocals questioned and ridiculed early on your career by insecure kpop fans until said SM groups prove them wrong to the point it becomes undebatable anymore that they’re great/the greatest.
Literally Kpop fans of other groups used to ridicule SNSD in their first years and later EXO in their first years. It just took these groups to have more content to shut those stupid claims.
Aespa already showing that all of them can sing in both their songs plus their pre-debut content but you still see these kpopies nitpicking on not having a live singing in pre-recorded stages. As if technology can fake those vocals..I mean if it would, other Kpop groups wouldn’t suck on studio too.

The resident vocal expert of the old allkpop forum REFUSED to analyse Super Junior's vocals because according to him they weren't worthy. He LITERALLY made a rule in the op of the official vocal analysis thread of the forum that forbids people from asking about Super Junior's vocals or posting their videos. Fast-forward a couple of years later, new vocal experts joined the kpop community and all agreed that Kyuhyun was the best idol vocalist and KRY the best vocal line, only then did he decide to check them out and agree on that opinion.
Narratives and bandwagons in kpop are a disease

This happened circa 2011 in the old allkpop forum called 6theory. Super Junior was everyone's favorite punching bag and aside from fans, no one wanted to admit they had any talents at all.
"don't ask about Super Junior vocals" was LITERALLY one of the rules in the op and clowns who stanned idols that could barely hold a tune had the time of their lives laughing at it and joking about "why the hell would anyone want to ask about SJ in a vocal analysis thread anyway". I wish I was making this up
SM having the best vocals in Kpop hasn't always been the "fact" it's treated as now. There was a time when the voices of antis were so much louder than those of the fans and the running narrative was that SM idols were nothing more than talentless visuals.

SM focuses on vocals but there have to be rappers too that's why, visuals tend to rappers.
However, SM rappers are good at singing too. They have good basic singing skills and use better technique than many other agency singers.
