Where does the IVE hype come from?

Obviously yujin and wonyoung's popularity is helping + the rest of the girls r impressive. I was quite shocked at the amount of interaction the other girls r receiving on Twitter. The likes r great.

Because of Wonyoung and Yujin + the other members's visuals

They are pretty, two members are alr very popular and KPOP is much more globalised and accessible now.

the main factors are:

1. yujin and wonyoung from izone

2. it will be the first post izone group

I'll add that they are all quite tall (for SK purposes)

and the fact that they included one girl born in 2007. Thats like 14 years old

Without Wonyoung and Yujin, nobody would be talking about Ivy.

I mean everyone was curious about Wonyoung and Yujin and they only checked the group because of them, as it usually happens with post pd groups. Then they saw the other girls visuals and got a lot more impressed and invested because the secret members aren't outshadowed by WY and YJ. So the interest increased. Its basically what happened.

1. Wonyoung and Yujin ex Izone members.

2. Both have large Chinese fan bases anticipating whatever they do.

3. Wonyoung’s popularity in Korea is massive, she trends basically anytime she posts on Instagram, she has endorsements from miu miu, kirsh and innisfree.

4. WY and YJ are both MC’s on music shows and have built up an audience who are anticipating their redebut.

5. Starship listened to what fans want and kept the group small and filled with trainees with amazing visuals and height to match WY and YJ.

Then I guess it bcos the team has the IT factor + alr well known established idols in the team. Usually ppl would think the other trainees won’t hold the candle to alr debuted idols but these trainees def are. So I think everyone is more excited and hyped about them.

The girls are really really pretty. Apart from the 2 Izone members the hype comes from the girl's visuals

+ there is no debut of GG from big 3 / hybe this year. Starship is kinda huge also. Their track record of GG are good with Sistar and WJSN
