How the hell YG let go of Jinny from Secret Number ?

I liked Jinny and I wanted her to be part of blackpink but realistically BP don't need another rapper Jennie and lisa are the main/lead rappers and imo I prefer them over Jinny's rapping

She didn't have a place in bp and now the ngg is much younger than her. It always happens in big companies, they let go of trainees with big potential because they didn't fit or didn't had enough space in their planned groups and would be too old to debut in the next group

Her rap was the best part about SN's current comeback but I feel she doesn't have much variation in her facial expressions.

I think she left due to not feeling ready,

She didn't really impress at all on PD48 tbh.

Picking Jennie and Lisa over her is a no-brainer in my mind.

It's good that she got an opportunity with another company though.

I lovveeedd her rap parts. All her rap parts were good in the song. When she suddenly started rapping after the 1st chorus, it was very surprising in a good way.

I think she was supposed to be debut in F2ne1 as mentioned by yge. But they dropped the plan to debut another team after BP's debut. That's why they left.

She definitely has star potential, her flow is great, she catches attention, all she and SN need are more songs!

BlackPink don’t need 3 rappers. Lisa is also a great dancer and Jennie is an all rounder.

As people above mentioned, YG has other girls that he felt could do better, so Jinny was not needed.

I am sure is like that at SM and JYP.

But JYP does put out a lot of Girl groups compared to SM and YG.

I agree, she does kinda remind me of CL with her rapping and her charisma is really good.

Tbh I could have seen her as a soloist

Her rapping reminds me of Jennie rapping in Whistle/Boombayah before she developed it more

So I guess both of them had similar rapping styles so it would've been counter productive to have them both
