I had no idea SNSD never sold over half a million with one album but apparently Aespa did. And they are still rookies. It feels like a Aespa already had their Gee and Genie within less than a year but it took 3 years for SNSD.
They also surpassed SNSDs charting. I know people will say “SNSD has done more for Hallyu than Aespa” but it’s not Aespa’s fault they were born decades later. Not to mention the competition is more fierce now than 2nd gen days because the market is more saturated.
At this rate Aespa will tower over SNSD’s records, who were considered unbeatable for years.
Oh, they just need NGG title. Waiting on that.
