By all objective measures Aespa will be more legendary than SNSD

They only have one mini album, but I have to drop an important question: What really makes an artist or group legendary? Is it just one thing (charts) or a combination of a few things? Sadly, even in the West, legends can easily be forgotten just like yesteryear's chartoppers. Legends have a better chance of being rediscovered though.

If the Aespa ladies "work up" like SHINee has over the years when it comes to conditioning to be strong live singers and performers, they can truly become legendary in their own right.

pretty sure SNSD The boys album outsold EVERY big groups that released in 2011 (Suju, BB, TVXQ, Beast, JYJ. so who cared if they sold above 500k or not, at least they were the MOST SOLD album that year. compare to aespa, it is different, they sold above 500k but did they get to ouldsold other group? dont think so...

Stop pitting them against each other. FFS one debuted in 2007, the other in 2020. the gap is probably half of your life man

agreed. very weird to compare a group from 2007 to one in 2020. obvs aespa will sell more; there are more ways to stream and more people internationally into k-pop LMFAO

As a long time fan of SNSD, I hope Aespa becomes more legendary than SNSD.

It's never going to take away from the legacy and impact that SNSD have had.

Records and achievements should be broken.
