Guarantee success from a well known and wealthy company vs countless auditions with a nugu company. All the best to her. She’s young and has plenty of time to work on her career.

What makes you think she wanted to even participate on Produce 101? To me I think it's more likely that Urbanworks forced her to compete on the show.

I don't recall this video or moment of Minju having a breakdown after leaving music. And she only just now announced that she will be acting. Hybe would have worked something out with UrbanWorks, I'll agree they don't care about her and they only care about money. But Minju/UrbanWorks would make more money in a super successful group than an acting career. So that leads me to believe she made this decision on her own.

She was weak during Produce48 but that was because she was lacking confidence most of the time. She was actually pretty decent by the tail end of the show. I guess you could put her into the same "weak but hard-working" trope as Sohye but I think most people would automatically say Hyewon if you ask who is the "Sohye", or weakest, of the group (although Hyewon fits more the "weak but SUPER pretty" trope)

Minju herself literally said being an idol with all her Izone sisters was the REASON FOR HER EXISTENCE. She LOVED being part of a team.

Is hybe trying to form a visual gg? No offense but sakura and there's that another girl from hybe girl group audition clip fit the position of visual so why adding another one? They should've tried to recruit chaeyeon or yena.

Once again, I'm not saying she didn't treasure her time with the group. I think she definitely did. Anybody cries when a good thing is over. I cried when I left middle school, doesn't mean I wanted to repeated 8th grade lmao. She's had a choice to continue acting or music and she chose acting.
