I thought Denise would want to leave now if the group was not gaining traction, think about it, she's 2001, this is her last chance to go to college without being severely behind, maybe her contract came up and now that she's a major she didn't want a part of it.

The only members with actual strong popularity are Dita, then Jinny and probably Soodam, it's very hard for the others (Lea and Denise) to gain traction - especially since Secret Number is known for shading ITZY Yeji's looks and being rude by the general idol watcher.

Dita is the strongest singer by far after Denise, and then there's a gap. They maybe got someone from Mixnine and a main vocalist probably.

this is generally a bad thing right when member numbers change?

So the same case as cignature. All my best wishes to both groups, this is why I don't really want to stan nugu ggs not matter how much I like them, it always ends up with line-up changes and long hiatus early into their career
