YG never announced a sub unit. They said they went to the us to work with music producers, likely for ot4 music, not for a subunit

my bet is that it will be awhile before we find out. blackpink members are always seen working on projects that either never see the light of day or take months, even years, to come to fruition

Because not necesarily you need the 4 members recording or producing music in the same moment or place. Plus, YG had never hinted a sub unit, if they were to announce it, they would had said it in the same statement you are bringing

Because lisa was working in her solo and jisoo probably her drama. Who tf says they ALL need to go to the u.s to work on group comeback. There is a big chance they traveled to have some fun and meet some friends too (which they did considering their social media updates)
