If BTS is on there, yes it big award show in Korea. Last year, all artists were housed under Paradise Hotel which is a 5 star hotel for award shows. All artists took pictures of that hotel.

ITZY's CSI season 1 was filmed at that Paradise Hotel.

It's another random award show that joined in the award show hype from a few years ago. Not really big or prestigious as the big ones like GDA, SMA etc

some random awards show that started like 2019? they treat artists well based on accommodations last year.

Or they just see it as a nice opportunity to earn some extra money. Does raise the interesting question how much money there's to be earned from an award show (tickets, streaming, fanvoting can bring in some decent money for the companies that host these award shows)

That's part of what I meant when they joined the award show hype. Theres so many of them off them these days and it's not like they're on the same level as the ones I mentioned. The only reason they host is them is for the exposure and the possibilities that brings. Put enough money into something and it's much more likely to get popular. Get popular and you get more sponsors and revenue. It's basically another way to make money from kpop fans
