I can't understand the hate for THIS MAN

I like his songs. I think it is stupid to hate on someone just because you don't like their music.

The people who hate him are mostly pop fans because he outcharts all their faves and they think it's "UnFaIr", the general public don't even care and stream all songs he releases. Oh, and pitchfork has some sort of personal vendetta against him and anything he touches, don't know why tho but pitchfork is just petty for no reason anyway

I also don't get the hate. I mean, I don't like his music (it doesn't match my taste,tho I do like his song "Sing"), but he has done nothing wrong and is quite reserved as far as I know. I do think it's 'cause of his looks and the fact that he sings bubbly radio friendly love songs and many find these type of music silly.

Or it's just envy idk. He's a regular dude who's successful, many would hate him for that reason.

I don't get the hate, even though his music is not my cup of tea, he seems like a nice down to earth guy who worked hard for his carrier

Everyone feels he's overrated and meh but like, that's an opinion and I'm pretty fine with his music. Shape of You was his worst though, why it blew up I have no clue.

He receives a LOT of unwarranted hate when there are celebrities out there still being praised when they've done worse things.
