Oh fk me this was terrible as well
Nearly every real life move of a Anime sucks

The books are pretty good but WTF WERE THEY THINKING WITH THOSE MOVIES

Nearly every real life move of a Anime sucks
Unless it's the Japanese that does it themselves. Like I enjoyed the real life adaptation of Death Note/Kaiji
Western remakes are just ...

Sharknado.

I never watched The Last Airbender movie. I never watched the TV show either so I mostly don't care if it's a turd.
I don't really have examples of movies that are so terrible that they deserve a watch. In my book, if they're truly terrible they can't make for any sort of enjoyable experience.
What I have though is examples of movies that received tremendous amounts of praise which they didn't deserve in my opinion. The most recent case to me would be Joker. This movie stole from far superior films and made something quite dumb therefore innocuous yet is praised for the opposite.

True if Japanese do it themselves it is often good but if Hollywood do it sucks

The thing is with remaking a popular book or cartoon is fans are going to be hella upset if it's not like what it's based on, even if it's set in the same universe but a different plot.
I feel like most "bad movies" are because fans didn't like the remake. And there's a LOT of them out there.

Time to find an illegal website to watch that abomination. I pity those who spent money for it

These movies cater exactly to the "so bad it's good" crowd. So they're being bad on purpose. Which actually defeats the "so bad it's good" aspect in my opinion.

Sure it happens. But it can't always be reduced to that. I had no expectations about the Joker movie. I knew it wouldn't be a straight up adaptation of a Batman comic book or whatever. Problem is the movie tried to be Joker movie and not be a Joker movie at the same time. In one scene, it says something, in the next scene it says the opposite. So it's kind of a mess and defuses its attempts at being controversial, subversive, shocking. It's just a bit stupid.

Nollywood seems to have some great gems.

I watched Cats last March just to see the trainwreck and I really think it completely put me off movies.

A cheap copy of "La Casa de Papel". That "Netflix Original Film" label is never a good sign.
