Like when they added Soyoung to Stellar only for Archangels of the Sephiroth to be their last comeback.

And as much as I like Sojin and Keumjo of 9muses, adding members 5 years into the group's career put a divide in the group between the 2013 lineup and the 2015 lineup. Plus they added members and still didn't have 9 members

That was for the better. If Sunmi didn't rejoin the group back in 2015, Wonder Girls would not have had their Reboot and Why So Lonely comebacks, both of which were superb.

Couldn't be helped, really. The industry was a lot less stable back then, many companies still starting out. After School was pretty much the only one that had "planned obsolescence", so to speak. Also, idol welfare standards were worse off, for the most part. Many companies and groups only added members after the initial ones dropped off due to various reasons.

Bruh especially for T-ara. It was the most stupidest and senseless idea MBK ever had.

1. Hwayoung mess. Enough said about the snake.

2. T-ara were already popular since they had hit big with Bo Peep and I Go Crazy Because of You so there was no additional fame to be added

3. Hwayoung didn’t add anything to the group as Eunjung and Hyomin were the rappers and Hwayoung couldn’t sing. Sure she had improved in rapping but that literally was in their last comeback before the implosion. Other than that her lines were far and few in songs and didn’t add anything.

Overall it was entirely stupid to add anyone to T-ara especially how in the end they went back to OT6 to release some of their best music aka Number 9 and Sugar Free.

I always get confused about T-ara's line up before. I'm the most familiar with the Bo peep line up so the sudden change in the members was confusing and unnecessary

Sunmi is a different case because she was part of the group but yeah even when a member like Keumjo adds something to the group, I don't like that either. For nugus groups, there is also a turnover these days, they sometimes add new members because the others ones leave.
