Which kpop generations have the best music?

4th gen has too little content compared to other gens. For me the 2 Gen but this have to do with a big fat nostalgia factor

No. Of songs released by 4th gen groups are obviously less compared to 3rd gen groups.

Music releases are definitely less I agree but I wasn't sure if that person was referring to content such as youtube, v-live, etc. because that's definitely not true lol

That many groups of this gen is yet to debut, like ygngg, jypngg, hybe groups and smnbg. We can judge better when these groups debut. As of now 4th gen only have 2 hit songs, maybe a few more if we add songs that made success internationally. But its still not comparable to 3rd gen groups that had several hits by different groups and still are active and making as much music as 4th gen.

3rd gen bc it has Exo and RV

It’s third for me, but perhaps I’ll feel differently in 10 years. A lot of first and 2nd Gen music has not aged well at all, although I think many of the artists still active are making (potentially) even better music now. 3rd Gen certainly has its own share of dated songs but as a whole, feels much stronger to me. EXO is what got me into Kpop because it was so different than what I’d been hearing in the genre and made me explore it more, but I certainly love the span across the generation, from the jazzy tones of Mamamoo to the power pop (or sultry R&b) of Red Velvet to the warm r&b of EXO to the stronger hip hop swag of Monsta X and NCT to the glossy pop of BTS.

Second gen of course imo. That’s the gen I got into K pop with the most iconic groups.

2nd and 3rgen

But I barely know 1st gen music and 4th gen one is ass in general

2nd and 3rd Gen and all gens in between

From the pioneers of SNSD and WG and T-ara to the current tops of RV, TWICE, and BP!

3RD Gen because this masterpiece didn't exist in any other generation.

I wasn't around for the starts of gen 1 and gen 2 and gen 4 has only started to third for me...

I know for a fact that a lot of us don't like 4th gen groups

I just dislike kpop

Almost all my favorite groups, discographies and songs come from the third generation so I will go with it.

Then the second generation hit differently but I know that it's partially because of the nostagia I feel. Still, a lot of amazing songs come from this era so I will put it second.
