It's one of the few remakes that I think is better than the original, Blackpink's added rap adds so much MMPH to it more than the original, the whispery sultry voices the Wonder Girls were doing for the original was boring to me.

It's difficult to fairly compare the two. They are different styles from different eras.
Wonder Girls' version was great for the time it was in. It leaned a bit more on the "cute" side in comparison.
BLACKPINK's version was more of an updated, modern version. For instance, it used rap flow commonly found in today's music.
