JYP launches new girl group in 2022?

I wasn't expecting them this soon tbh though I know there have been some talks about them potentially coming sooner rather than later.

And whata up with this 'blind package' thing JYPE???

Weird. But if it really happens I’m gonna associate this GG with Aespa and YGNGG more than itzy since the debut timing is closer.

I guess it’s always good to have a backup plan in case twice doesn’t renew next year. Kinda weird that niziu debut less than a year ago. Does that mean he’s just having them focus on japan? Might be a good idea as they are huge there. Either way, this is exciting news!

It's normal for jyp. there's only 3 years 4 months gap between twice and itzy.

I think from 2019 JYPE was planning on debuting multiple ggs. Itzy was the first one.

Not at all. End of the Twice contract is over in 2022. If they do not renew, JYPE will lose their source of income n ° 1. And I don't remember a single artist & idols from JYPE who has already renewed his contract ...

For those wondering why, JYPE is sitting on high profile trainee's, it makes sense.

Lily M has been known for 6 years now and trainee for around 8, and has been hyped as a great vocalist.

Itzy debut with teen crush only two years ago so probably not that. Both them and TWICE are filling the space in JYP for more mature concepts right now. JYP gg's often follow trends but put their own unique spin on it; So my best guess would be the fresh/high teen concept thats beginning to trend or a new concept altogether.

This is probably the main vocalist, and this was her 7 years ago.

Niziu is Jpop they need a replacement for twice in kpop, itzy have already established their brand. I think it will be Aespa, jyp ngg and yg ngg as the representatives xx

I think twice are fine. The group that we should be worried for is Day6. The new girl group will be under this division and it will be going under a new change of management and name change.

From the statement they released Division 4 will be Artist 4 Headquarters and they appointed a female director (a first for JYP) handling the girl group. Just by this alone JYP is going all out for them.

jyp has a good track for gg, so i'm really looking forward to their new gg
