I usually do. Even though I know they are basically worthless, it's sort of instinctual for me. I blame my dad since he does it too because he collects copper pennies as a hobby, so maybe that's where I get it from lol.
If it doesnโt seem too unsanitary, I do. Itโs still money and every bit adds up. Money is hard work and valuable time. For money, we sacrifice time that we canโt get back. The whole idea of running out of time scares me.
Yes. What's cool is that I don't always come across pennies but also dimes. I consider it a random moment to practice gratitude. I may not need or want it, but it's appreciating the little things as a reminder that they add up to something bigger than you might expect when you look back.
Here it's considered good luck if you find one. I used to do that, but since the pandemic started, instinctually I don't pick up. Even tho I always disinfect my hands after using money, but my mind works this way hehe.
