Your faves suddenly disappear off the face of the earth along with their entire discography. Do you still listen to kpop?

A weird situation to think about but I would probably lose interest in KPOP altogether.
I stan a lot of groups but nothing would quite fill the void for my bias groups if that happened. -
-
Yep! There's been a few times where I looked up a western-world song and bumped into a decent K-Pop one.
If all my favorite soloists and groups never existed, K-Pop would feel like it was under-developed. If I saw some glimmer of potential, I'd still have hope that it would someday achieve it's potential. I can't call who I would be interested in.

this just happened to me with gfriend, literally one day they are completely functioning and suddenly the next day they don’t exist anymore so it’s comparable to what I’m feeling now
it’s easily accessible to find new faves but i feel pretty exhausted at this point of the cycle. while it appears groups stay together longer than last gen ultimately they still have pretty anticlimactic and even depressing endings
im still listening to kpop but.. definitely a bitter hag lmao
-
-
We would just lose you completely to anime fandom.
-
Yes! Embrace Monsta X!

With groups like Suju and 2PM and Shinee still kicking, I'm hoping that we will see more kpop groups sticking around longer. I would love to see older idols with more mature music and concepts.
-
Definitely not
-
Then I'd be just a casual listener of a few groups.

-
-
lol
Also, your signature tho. Suho is such bf material...
i love his smile so much
-
-
Do you think you'd eventually find another fave?
I think I eventually would but I probably wouldn't like them as much as I like my current faves
-
-
Nope. I'm done with kpop the moment my faves are done with it. I'll just stick to listening to western music and Indian classical music

Dont ask me Lee Soo man said it in his latest 1 hour lecture video

its all tic's fault.. .

Please don't make me imagine this
I probably wouldn't have known that kpop exists if not for BTS. I'd have probably go on to discover some other genres like Rock or Reggaeton etc. or music from the past like 80's or 60's.

You've have been here for so long and post frequently but still it is difficult to guess who are your faves.

I used to train in Hindustani classical music too, but had to take a break because of my boards. These days I'm listening more to carnatic but I really enjoy all sorts of classical music. I've even given classical music exams lol :-D

Yeah I used to give those exams as well.. I only trained for 3 years though cause it got very hectic...
and my teacher was too strict
boards bring back memories lol, I used to take them so seriously and not one cares about those when you get to real world lol
