Recently I went to among us. Here is what happened.
My username is ArmyBlink because I am an ArmyBlink (a dying species according to some, so yall make sure you pray for this endangered species) So I joined a game, then I said hello, how are you yall?
And this dude said Go away toxic 12 year old kpop stan, BTS Blackpink bayot. And I am like what did I do to you and left the game.
I really don't get it. People need to realize that a fandom does not decide what your personality is gonna be.
If someone from a specific fandom is shading your favs it ain't because they are from that fandom, it is because they are a bad person.
I am tired of the whole generalization of kpop fandoms, why do people act like we are all 12 year olds that would do anything for our "oppas" and "unnies"?
I am sorry but I am 13, and if BTS and Blackpink slip right next to me I ain't gonna help them get back up. They gonna have to pick themselves up. Also I am way smarter than the people that say that and that is a fact.
And can we just talk about lack of differences between generalizations of fandoms? Apparently according to reddit, quora and much more
Armys-Toxic 12 year old girls Blinks-Toxic 12 year old girls Onces-Toxic 12 year old girls, and NCTzens are girls who joke about NCT too much?
Not only is this ageism but also sexism. What is with people's problem with someone a young girl liking something? Is it my fault that I am a girl that likes kpop? And the idea age correlates to your maturity.
If that was true then a portion of this forum would be 5 year olds. And lets not talk about the 2 year olds on the home page.
This whole generalization of fandoms isn't just a normal mean person problem, but also a ageism and sexism problem. Not matter what your age or gender, you should be allowed to like something without getting discriminated and generalized.
Anyway, thank you for listening to my ted talk.
