I feel they can but all depends on SM. Winter helped in choreo in NL, so I do have hopes.

i don't think SM will allow them to be involved in writing/ composing for group songs. Taeyong's songs are self published on soundcloud; SM has no contribution in it. Maybe like Taeyong they will be allowed to make their own songs outside of group.

No. Its not easy to be a songwriter. Everyone can write, but not everyone can write good music. Looking at Aespa, I think it would be hard to write a song that fits their concept.

I don't think SM allow new group to do that.

SM let Giselle write for her pre-debut rap and she did it in 3 languages, i think SM sees talent in her so they may let her write her own verse in the future

Sm is very strict about this. Even if you make the song, Sm doesn't accept every song. Maybe if they make good songs.

Would be nice if they can do it, love to see what these new groups can do but it is definitely not a must.

For rap , I think Yes (since SM GG written rap parts mostly suxx)

Ningning’s self-composed song was actually good so I hope SM would let them. I have high hopes for Giselle as well (esp for her rap).
