Random appreciation thread because I'm bored~
These are just the idols that i've seen that have the most talent, I tried to be objective and not factor in whether I stan them or not, but obviously there will be some bias because I'm a human. also sorry for the lack of boy group members, I don't know them that well :)
Hyolyn/Hyorin- Main vocal, Main Dancer, Rapper. This one is obvious to me, despite her controversy she is undeniably one of the best singers to ever debut in kpop, and a great dancer, on top of that she's good at handling singing and dancing at the same time, and had a good showing on Unpretty Rapstar.
Ailee- IDK if she's considered an idol or what but it's pretty much unanimous that Ailee is the best singer in kpop and one of the best in Korea as a whole, also she showed some rapping skills on Good Girl.
IU- one of the most genius song writers in Korea, her list of hits speaks for itself, also a good singer.
Seulgi- one of the most well rounded idol, she's the one you think of how an idol should be, always good expression, clean dance moves, and stable vocals. there's no obvious hole in her skills
Jihyo- i put her here because some may not consider her vocal as good as other main vocals, but when you consider that she is one of the most stable kpop idols while singing and dancing (an extremely rare and important skill for idols), and that she is one of the best dancers on her team, i think she deserves a spot here.
Lisa- I was debating which BP member to put here, because they are my bias group so of course I think all 4 members are the most talented girls, but I chose Lisa because she is the one that shows the most proficiency in all her skills, even since her trainee days when she breezed through the monthly evaluations, despite being a very hard-worker, when Lisa performs you get the feeling that everything is very easy to her, she makes dancing and rapping look effortless
Soyeon- similarly for why IU is here, her list of song writing credits is unparalleled and she is a great rapper
