If my eyes weren't wrong, after looking at the brighter resolution I'm quite sure these are some pictures of specific lower body parts.

Still creepy

Apparently the vag pic is him with a beanie?

They're pictures taken by artistic professional photographers, as confirmed in the statement from H1ghr Music.
Still creepy
They're photos that professional photographers took as art. It's not much different from what you'd find in museums.

I still find it creepy. Art or not it does not make it differently for me.

That's fair and understandable. I'm just saying it's no different from some guy or girl who has a nude statue or photo of an ancient Greek god.
Not really my type of preferred art either way, but I understand why people like it.

I understand what people like in nude art but the way it was on the wall was just weird

I get what you mean, especially since they were taped as if he printed them out. If they were framed posters, it would look a bit less strange.

I can understand if he posted normal nude picture as an form of ART or inspirations or whatever
But specifics parts of the body? Lower parts oriented? This is a bit.....

The way everything was set up definitely looked strange.

Tbh I believe the statement and that the pictures are actually art/photography, like I said in the first place.
The puctires are really pretty, it was obvious they were art.
I get that the aesthetic is not for everyone but some users on this forum tried to paint him as a sexual offender, creeper, incel, and whatnot because they personaly don't like it.
They must be sad he's not any of those.
And the audacity of some to think they have the authority to decide what's art and what isn't

Oh i thought this is leader of got7

wow so it really was a vag after all and not a picture of him in a yellow beanie like some people were saying earlier lol. At least that one is cleared up I guess. At the same time this pic clearly has more artsy fartsy feel to it than just a plain close up shot of a hairy pussy like other people initially assumed lol so it’s also not as heinous as putting blatantly explicit porno pics on his wall. Either way, this scandal sure came out of left field

Yup, exactly like you said.
Also it's just a body. Body was always used in art. And I can't believe we are in 2021 and this is weird.

Really? I didn't change for me at all, it wasn't even surprising to me. He was always into art and photography, and he had various artistic photos or more explocit photos as wallpapers before, so not much of a surprise for me.

Like I said, not in a negative way, I was a casual GOT7 fan so I never followed them too closely but I did watch most of their variety shows so I wasn't totally unfamiliar with his personality as well but I didn't know he was into this stuff. Now the image of his that changed is now I'm aware that he is into these kind of stuffs, that's it

I understand and of course, like I've said before, everyone has the right to feel whatever they want.
But some people called him a lot of names + the fans as delusional and obsessive kpop fans for 'defending' their fave.
Yup, he is someone I'm a fan of, but I didn't form my opinion on this matter as his fan, but as a person, that's interested in art and has quite some knowledge about it. And art is an interesting topic of debate, what is art, how and why it can make people uncomfortable. I've heard a lot of times artifacts in museums made people uncomfortable. I've seen things that go way beyond what was on that photos on his wall.
But as a fan I wasn't surprised, because, like I said, he has always shown interest in different kind of arts, and into photography, so when this 'problem' surfaced, it was quite clear to me that those are not some images that he put on a wall for ''I don't know what kind of purpuse people had in mind''.
I know very well that we don't know our faves, but we do know about their interests and we do know their mindests theough interviews and such at least a little. And Jay B is always super straightforward, he doesn't hold back. He was one of the rare male idols that spoke about me too movement and a lot of other actual issues, that idols don't speak about.
He didn't hide those images as it was something that should be hidden, because he probably didn't think of it as such. We don't know idols, but I do think that those that show themselves perfect and watch out for their every movement and word can have deeper secrets as such idols, that just speak their mind and show everything.

The gaslighting apparently worked on some people.

I understand what people like in nude art but the way it was on the wall was just weird
Well if you read theqoo’s comments, you can see one person, a male says “its like molka” and then proceeds to say “keep it in your hard drive”. That comment is weirder and more messed up than the person putting it up on wall, surrounded by many other non nude inspirational photographs. Like right above the pvssy picture was his own photoshoot. His process is to go through pictures and be inspired to write songs. He also is one of the few idols who supports me too movement when many Koreans don’t. So to understand his pov, simple, we actually need to let him explain and he explained, its art to him. Its on the wall because unlike many who sees pvssy as a dirty object (the real objectification problem really), he finds value in them.
-
Ask the photographer. A friend of mine (female) photographs dicks and I find it really weird at first. But I asked her instead of shoving my moral ethics like knetz, lol. She tells me that men have complexities with their dicks more than we think plus half of the people she photographs also have prostate cancer and the fact that the male genitalia that is supposed to be the masculinity is also killing them, its a story that people don’t dare to portray but yet its important to share. And she said the dicks aren’t just sexual organ, just like a pvssy isn’t just a sexual organ. So in way, what are the intents? How do we see it?

So... like I said in the other thread.
People shutting down art simply because of nudity or focus on certain body parts... it’s a bit frustrating to me because I have friends/colleagues who are photographers and have similar imagery/themes/focuses in their work... are they weird? Are they disgusting?
I’m just tired, as someone with an art background.
I really don’t get why the public / non-artist are so damn culture shocked by Nude or sexual art. It shouldn’t be a foreign concept.
And the fact the people have to apologize over this???? Now I’m a little peeved about this whole fiasco.
I went through reddit yesterday and saw someone getting a flack because they said “we are all born through a vagina yet a vagina is seen as something distasteful”. The user was called out to be disrespectful and I am just like ... what is this world of fake wokeness am I living in??? Someone even said its transphobic to say “vaginas are part of woman” and I was like ok so women can’t even own up the thing they actually own.
Whats even funny is that one user listed painters who does nude art with non sexual intent, such as manet and the hater suddenly make this about sexual objectification in the art industry that Sylvia Sleigh was protesting against. But thing is Sylvia Sleigh wasn’t talking about sexual objectification of women in art pieces, she’s talking about her position as a woman in the art industry being reduced by the men, that gender imbalance. So the fact that non art eduacted people is just trying to force their narrative on someone else is probably is truly reactionary but nothing clever.
So yeah, its just pure bollocks that nude art is taboo just because society can’t get dirty sex out of their head. Sex itself is beautiful yet most make it so dirty.
