It's an OK name. Not too common, not too weird. I can't change it anyway.

I was born into an Eastern Orthodox household, and it's common here to name children after saints. I'm named after John the Baptist. I find my name basic but yeah, I got used to it.

Where I'm from you are not allowed to change your given name. There are a couple of exceptions of course, like transgender people who need to change their given name or people who are stuck with a name that "a majority of people finds repugnant or offensive", but otherwise you will never obtain permission to legally change your name. Well... Not unless you emigrate and obtain citizenship elsewhere.

My names meaning is fighter (Irish). But in reality it has strong 80s connotations in the UK and I feel like it's really old fashioned
