OP has never been a NCTzen, people just use this assumption as a perfect excuse to throw shade at NCT anytime they can. I've seen this user create more threads about TxT members than commenting on any NCT related stuff lol
Watch out! There's a rumour that HYBE will copy the NCT system.

As if they can pull it off

Well NCT doesn't have a graduation system. They have three (so far) fixed units that operate similarly to regular groups, and they have an unfixed unit that links all the other fixed ones together by making up "random" combinations from the different units to promote the NCT brand as a whole.

I meant along the lines of the difference is the graduation system. Sorry for my mistake there. My point being the concept as a whole was derived from Japanese groups.

Yeah, i see your point, NCT was planned from the beginning as a subunit system, while TXT and Enhype obviously are not. I was just playing along to OP's hypothetical scenario where HYBE decides to implement an NCT system now. I dont think they would debut 20 totally new members, most likely they would add one new BG and then mix and match them later. This way, they would already have a solid base of MOAs and Engenes to give the system clout.

Yeah I've been telling everyone that I only follow Taeyong and 4th gen boygroups. Heck it's already written tyongf on my profile.
And there are many ways to support your bias. There are some who would join guild, create threads about them etc. But I don't do that really. I support Taeyong and many other 4th gen groups by buying their albums.
Hope that clear things up.

Ideas like this are pretty cheap.
The execution is what matters.
Another example of this would be how the original Idol Producer copied Produce 101. The idea of Produce 101 has translated pretty well, but its particularly important that the first carbon copied it. Most of the competition formats are still executed very similarly even now: a theme song, song battles on popular songs, position battles, and then some "original" music for the later rounds.
