Disclaimer: I am not a hardcore MIDZY, so some of the things I say might not be accurate. Please correct me if you find a mistake.
First of all, I want to thank evo-evolution for telling me about Ting Ting Ting (another ITZY song) and reminding me about ICY and things I have seen about it. So basically thank you for inspiring me to make this thread. I don't think a lot of people know this, but I am an Midzy. I absolutely love ITZY, but I do not interact with their fandom as I don't use social media. But I have seen this a lot, some people don't like ITZY's ICY. It is honestly a 50/50 from what I have seen. Some people like it and some people hate it/dislike it. If you search up ITZY ICY Hated, you will see what I mean. ICY was the second ITZY song and I liked it, it was chill summer song and I couldn't stop singing ICY BUT I AM ON FIRE with my horrifying singing skills. (You can imagine what I was thinking when I found out some people did not like it). Allow me to sum up the things I have seen on why people don't like this song. OMG the song is way to shouty and childish! I hate it when they sing blah blah. This song is honestly ITZY's worst song. This song is literally another version of Dalla Dalla, except even worse. The chorus is so annoying. Hi I am back! The earlier sentences were not me by the way, just me saying things I have heard about ICY. So as I usually say, sprinkle some love to the song. I am not asking you to love the song, just not hate on it. Just say your fav part, for me it is the pre chorus, when Lia sings Icy but I am on fire!! (If you haven't figured that out by now). So sprinkle some delicious toppings (love) on the ice cream (ICY).
