Whats the point of watching sports ?

no less boring than watching grown women's uploaded pictures on instagram about what clothes they got sent or where they ate or who they met up with

yet lots of people do that

Have you ever tried watching cricket? The best sport.

I don't watch any sport that last 5 hours, not watching marathons lol. And there is no point about them, just like almost any form of entertainment, people just do because they enjoy and find them fun

It's kinda dramatic and fun? I like soccer a lot, and watching people at the peak of their athletic ability out maneuver and run around each other is hypnotic. I barely know what's going on but that's okay

My partner has been a huge sports head their whole life and gets into the strategy and minute details of what's going on. Lots of different ways to enjoy it I guess?

The only sport-related thing I watch are the european handball championships.I like handball because it's fast and it's always intense,meanwhile with football you could watch a game for 90 minutes with literally nothing happening.

Because it's fun watching the best of the best compete to win a trophy or become the best in the world. Often you get a lot of drama in one match/event sometimes with big upsets or dominations.

I mean I could simply say 7-1 and almost everyone will instantly know what I'm talking about and have a varying number of reactions to it.

i mean it's a lot of fun if you like the sport or if you're really rooting for someone to win

Generalizing sports this way is not nice. There are tons of other kinds of sports. Try figure skating

yeah but the gameplay is amazing at least

and it takes years of dedication to be that good and the longer the event last, the harder it is for the players too so the ones that last are huge inspirations for watchers

and amazing job explaining how important beauty is over talent to you
