[Poll] What is bigger? K-Drama vs. K-Pop

Until the last 3 years, it was k-drama. Kpop become significant recently only.

Kdrama has always been bigger than kpop, before BTS came along. And now with Netflix it is getting even more exposure. Even people who dont watch kdrama, end up with it in recommendations sometimes.

Domestically, K-dramas. That's why OSTs destroy the charts.

Internationally, I would dare to say K-pop. But I have no actual data.

In my country K drama > K pop. Probably because it catered to wider audience while K pop is K pop.

I'm surprised many people voted kdrama.

Sure, they are big in East Asia but kpop has a whole BTS tho..

Also, parasite was big all over the world. So, i think kmovies vs kpop would be more suitable.

I agree with this. And, living in America, I feel like Korean pop culture fans here are bigger in KPOP in general and from what I've seen.

It's always been kdramas > kpop except recently with BTS. Not sure you can confidently say Kpop has exceeded Kdramas globally when it's hard-carried and contingent on BTS domination.

Kdrama. actors/actresses are still more famous than idols. Plus you have Netflix spending $500M this year on content.

In asian countries, kdrama without a doubt even if kpop is also known here. It’s just that yall underestimate how popular kdramas are here especially to the demos older than teens lol
