What is the definitive, representative IVE song? Love Dive or I Am

“Love Dive”

I say that as someone who loves both and has listened to “I AM” significantly more.

I just think “Love Dive” highlights each member’s individual strengths while also encompassing the group’s overall sound and identity. It somehow does that flawlessly. Wonyoung as center during the “narcissistic” part and Yujin’s dance break are some of those moments that are forever imprinted in my memory.

“I AM” is great in its own way, though.

I was unclear if we were supposed to just vote for our favorite, so I went with I Am. If I ranked IVE songs by listen count, Love Dive might not even crack my top 10. But for representing the group I would choose Live Dive, I think superyeah put it really well as to why.

"Love Dive" is like the perfect introduction to all of the members' positions in the group as well as their strengths.

It's THE Wonyoung IVE song if there's one. It just oozes Wonyoungism.

I'm not sure if there's another group that can do "Love Dive" the way IVE can.

"I AM" is a great song, but I can name some other K-pop girl groups that can do it just as well. Including... Ahem. HUNTR/X. Shoutout SooYoung

Anyway, "I Am" is obvioisly the better song. No wonder AKP talks charts; it lacks taste.

I think we're voting and deciding based on what song represents the group's identity and image. There's a number of us who prefer "I AM," but chose "Love Dive" for this reason.
