The Grammys are an American award, and Twice accomplished more in America than Aespa did, so theoretically they certainly should. Do I think anyone from Kpop actually gets nominated? No.

Because many "new" artists have been grinding the indy scene for years, so there need to be criteria besides debut years or anything simplistic like that.

I hate the vague definition for this award. Some secret rando committee gets to decide "significant prominence" or "breakthrough", that is clearly enabling a breeding ground rife with payola shenanigans lol.
Kakao could literally drop a cool 20 million on the voters without even missing the money, nobody would know, and then BAM Aespa gets the award over far more deserving acts like BTS, BP, Twice, New Jeans, and Izone.
By telling me to take it up with the Grammys, you're clearly insinuating that I shouldn't voice my opinions on it here. What else could that possibly mean, or what alternative purpose could it serve to make such a suggestion?
