Facts. I grew to appreciate The Feels, but I was not feeling it like that when it was first released.
I liked Scientist from the get go, but it wasn't as repeatable as other Twice songs for me.
Neither song would be in my top 10 for Twice songs overall, but Scientist might make it in my top 10 Twice title tracks.

It's the risk of releasing a pre-release that overshadows the title track. We had that last year with Aespa with Supernova overshadowing Armageddon.
I think more people enjoyed the song today than they did on release. I don't think it was as bad as people said it was. Maybe Scientist wasn't title track material but I enjoyed it. The b-sides for that comeback was very good.

....I just found ANOTHER AMAZING VIDEO of her literally just practicing her piano and singing during the pandemic, no autotune, no backtrack.
Like she messes up her piano playing, she stops a few times randomly, and the song is definitely not a "trendy" sound these days.... but omg, there is more musicality and soul in these 5 minutes of a livestream than the entirety of the Hot 100 and 90 percent of Kpop combined. And that includes every supposed "vocalist" in Kpop lol.
There is NO ONE IN KPOP THAT CAN EVEN COME WITHIN A GALAXY OF THIS GIRL's VOCALS (except Jo Yuri), THAT'S WHY VOCALS ARE IRRELEVANT WHEN ARGUING ABOUT KPOP TALENT. Taeyeon, IU, Wendy, Yoojoo or whoever the rando from Gfriend was, like NONE OF THEM WOULD EVEN DARE TO STEP FOOT ONSTAGE with my Mori.
As for my tastes, it's all about music that is either original/unique/creative. I hate stripped down, repetitive, generic basic sounds. I want complex song structures, interesting instrumentals, bridges, prechoruses, postchoruses, outros. I want unique sounding vocal tones. I want emo ballads that make me tear up. I love lyrical rap that Kpop offers too, so much better than that nonsense mumble rap that was so popular here.
