Well, I wouldn't go as far as "competing", but good for IVE letting everyone know that they can at least clap and cheer next to the podium of the biggest acts internationally.

And considering they release more songs than BP and have like almost twice the number of songs as NewJeans of which duration is mostly 1.5x per song, I think it's an incredible feat that the averaged stats for IVE are on that level so we should celebrate this achievement by a non Big 4 group

I'm all for raising a glass to celebrate the accomplishment of IVE, who grinded their way to just off the podium despite having to struggle with a nugu company and shoestring budget. They got to this point with zero competitive advantages and defied all the stacked odds and expectations.

Comparing average/song can be missleading if you comparing groups that have a big diffrence in the number of total songs because you split your listenings between a bigger amount of songs. I would say a more fare measurement is to count the average number on each groups top 10 songs. (not saying that will change anything in this case)
