…or is Twice destined to be their most successful girl group?
Do you think JYPE can make another TWICE?

They can do twice Twice?

My guess is the next JYP group will be a NewJeans clone and all the song-writing will be done by JYP himself.
I can imagine his reaction as soon as he saw them: a pang of regret rising from deep in his stomach before grasping at his throat, while his whole life’s work is called into question - “What have I wasted my time doing these past years?”
You see, JYP loves shit like New Jack Swing, he eats that stuff up daily and loves telling people how much he likes it and associates genres like Soul and R&B, but he probably didn’t even realise it was possible to make a girl group with all those elements. Instead the company has been wasting its time with Nmixx, a failed AESPA-clone. Chasing a dead trend.
So I think he would have seen NewJeans like an epiphany, and now he’s going to dedicate the rest of his life to making a group in their footsteps. The irony being he wants to be a trendsetter, trailblazer, but he always ends up following the pack leaders instead.
Anyway, just a hunch I have. Take it with a pinch of salt.

The industry is full of newjeans and the y2k/school idol concept is tired. He needs to cook up whatever he did with Twice again

A logical argument, but JYP has never been a man to act logically (see, his sending the Wonder Girls into nugudom in the US instead of letting them reign supreme in Korea, or wearing of see-through trousers, neither are the acts of a logically sound man).
-
of course why not
also why has there been recently a trend on AKP to write - is there going to be another xyz?
those who ignore history are doomed to repeat it - history has shown us (in sports, war, politics, business and even kpop) that there will always be people or situations or companies etc that people think will never be surpassed and yet more often than not it has and it will

New jeans concept used to be fresh. Now it's incredibly stale. He will have to come up with something completely new.

the day human clonage is allowed in Korea, they can

He had a chance with NiziU, but 99.9% of NiziU's promo/performances have been in Japan ... they just had their 1st Korean cb (1.5 years after their Korean debut with Heartris) ... but I don't know when their next Korean cb will be .... they're so booked in Japan with all the Japan brand deals, festivals in Japan, tours in Japan etc. ....
NiziU got a Korean Music Show win for both Heartris (Korean debut) and Love Line (Korean cb)!!!

Niziu were never gonna be another Twice since they’re purely a jpop group.

Wonder Girls sent you a postcard from 2nd gen containing their #1 spots
I do believe JYP is capable of putting together another very famous and successful girl group. I just wish he put all his efforts in the existing one. It's not too late for Itzy if the company decides that it isn't. And NMIXX is just now falling into the graces of GP, JYP can't mess it up
-
All he has to do is repeat the same formulas that made Twice successful.
And promote them heavily for God's sakes!!!

NiziU were intended to be a global groupScreenshot_20241110-182800.png

NiziU are the first group under a Korean company, without Korean members, to win on a Korean Music Show .... and the first to have Korean album releases .... ME:I, INI, JO1, AndTeam etc only have Japanese album releases (although they do promote in Korea)
-
Itzy and Nmixx are actually huge in Japan
-
I seriously hope their next GG will have more members let it be 9 or 11
