Give him 3 years, and he's gonna debut in a group.

Right. And it's even less believable if she's not his biological kid. Also, the whole "to keep you safe" thing isn't even logical. She's had people try to kill her for seasons now, without knowing is true identity. I don't see how him telling her privately who he is would change anything.
