There is a common thread between all these threads.

I guess very popular groups bring the most traffic, especially if the thread is a controversial one.

This is just confirmation bias in action, considering 90% of this forum's threads are already about Blackpink, who have the largest fandom remaining here. They're not actually bringing in traffic, you're just forcing the existing traffic to watch, like a horrific accident.

Lies, the biggest fans here are from armys (that are gone bc of the scandals last year) and onces that are gone for whatever reason. Just these past months some blinks came back, but even then it's super few compared to years ago.

The largest I must say are bunnies imo.

If you look closely, K-pop these days seems to focus more on gossip and rankings than the music itself.

And since Bp has both, they're an easy target.

Regardless, any provocative thread will always generate more traffic and engagement.
