JYP have lost their spark. They can't produce new top groups anymore to compete with the top 4th and 5th gen groups. Kickflip has no chance against RIIZE, TWS, TXT, Enhypen, or ZB1.

SKZ might not be but NMIXX probably. He needs to give both NMIXX and ITZY more quality songs.

It seems like an odd choice to debut another group, especially with the recent VHCA controversy. But it's not exactly as if the current JYP groups are mismanaged flops like everyone seems to imply. They may not be charting well but NMIXX and ITZY are still selling tons of albums, so it's not like the groups aren't successful in that way. Same with Twice. In any case, the best promotion in the world cannot change the fact that the music coming out of these groups is mid. In fact I would say MIDZY is a very appropriate fandom name since their fans clearly enjoy mid music.

He has ITZY and NMIXX that he has basically been neglecting. TWICE is doing good but they are not at the peak they used to be. NEXZ, NIZIU, and Xdinary Heroes are basically nugu, VCHA might never comeback, and Stray Kids have to do everything themselves.

I think it’s just how companies view kpop. Either you get viral/popular from debut, or it’s nugudome forever.

So JYP doesn’t see much more progress happening for their current groups, so they need a chance at a smashing #1 group again.

Objectively having a top group in Twice (3rd gen) and Stray Kids (4th gen) is fine. It’s a decent record tons of other kpop companies would kill for.
