Stop misusing the term "company stan"

If you mean that too many people call people "company stans" just becaues they defend a company or say something that supports a company, then yes. Too many are confused about it.

The way it's used in the context of the NJs thing is often just a means of invalidating peoples opinion without actually putting in any effort to do. But with the opinions some people have (like patrik), that's all they deserve.

Yea I just generally don't like the attitude of "you biased/stupid so you're opinion doesn't matter", which you see on both ends. It's a bit boring but in most situations I tend to land on "both sides suck". For every tokki I've seen who just brands everyone as a hater/company stan, I've seen just as many actual haters/delusional company stans who deserve to be called one. Kpop is wild.

I rather hope so unless they’ve got some incriminating evidence. If they get away from Ador scatheless (without evidence) it will send a shockwave through kpop. Also I would feel justice wasn’t served and personally I wouldn’t feel good about it.

I'll never allow for a "both sides bad" narrative to breathe. They don't even have a good reason for being so obsessed with NewJeans; they just want them to suffer for challenging the HYBE status quo.

I mean I agree in the sense that I think the side of supporting NJs in their decisions is the "right" side but you can't convince me that both sides don't suck with some of things I've seen said about Illit and LSF by tokkis both on here and twitter.

Ves, we both know I've been deeply embedded in this conflict from the night the audit was announced by HYBE and have remained so up until this point.

The "both sides bad" narrative is offensively disingenuous and patently false.

Have there been some toxic people defending NewJeans? Sure. But I know for a fact that the fandom, at large, has not exhibited toxic behavior and has only defended the girls from incredibly harmful rumors and malicious headlines.

Do not make me sit here and list all the actually very harmful things HYBE sycophants have done or tried to do to NewJeans, from death threats to retweeting and giving a platform to a KNOWN incel loser who literally has "I hate NewJeans" in his profile, and let's not forget the aforementioned incident where HYBE stans tried to start a rumor that MHJ was prostituting the girls for favors. Yes, I went there because you made me go there.

And that's not even accounting for the fake discord chat that HYBE stans created just to bring hate to NewJeans and Bunnies, rivaled in joblessness only by the fake knetizen article they wrote up for the same purpose.

THESE are very harmful. And I have no problem with Bunnies refusing to take that shit lying down. HYBE did NOTHING to protect the girls from all this mudslinging. We did. And we are not the same.

By the power of the FANS, petitions have been completed and corrupt company lapdogs have been summoned by the National Assembly and publicly shamed for their toxic, negligent ineptitude. Another petition reached 50k today, so expect round 2 in the near future.

My categorization is harsh but accurate, and after 8 months of this, my opinion and stance will never ever change. The HYBE stans made sure of that. Are you just blind or pretending to be blind to all the awful things they've said about NewJeans for months now?

Meanwhile that behavior isn't NEARLY as rampant on our side. The discord thread for this shit show gets locked IMMEDIATELY for days the moment it turns toxic. The subreddit has virtually nothing but supportive comments and updates about the girls. And twitter is a warzone regardless, but nothing Bunnies have done there is even 10% as toxic as some of the filth being regurgitated by HYBE stans.

I didn't mean to rant, but your take seriously annoys me. This is NOT a "there are bad actors on both sides" scenario. One side tried to be bullies and the other got tired of taking that shit. The End

I really hope you don't think I'm under the impression that majority of tokkis are toxic. Even the majority of tokkis on here are cool, just a small minority that are toxic/delulu, and you who lies somewhere in between . Maybe the other side is majorly just haters/toxic/bad actors, you seem pretty convinced they are, but not ALL of them are and not everyone who opposes your view is a company stan, which was the point of this thread.
