Lee Michelle is one of the best vocalists the industry has to offer. She competed on the first season of Kpop Star and was able to sign a contract with YG. However plans fell through for her girl group's debut and her contract was nullified. She did debut under DIMA entertainment. One unique thing about Lee Michelle is that she is biracial, half Korean and half black. So she comments on the racial discrimination she experienced in this video. It's pretty powerful and the incredible vocals make it even more strong.
Sadly Lee Michelle hasn't been super active. She made her last comeback in 2015 and didn't release much music as the years went on. She was pretty active in 2021 and 2022, but hasn't released anything since.
