Reason why BABYMONSTER will NEVER make it

it has been evidence since their debut that they are not going to be big since blackpink is active plus there are lot of foreign members which is koreans aren't satisfied. and yes, seven members are just too much for hip hop, would have been ideal for girly concepts.

It is not because of the members but because of the music

If YG will continue like this after 1-2 years Babymonster will be irrelevant unfortunately

Give them good music YG

For girl groups, I think 4 members is best. But at the same time, SNSD got super big and had 9 members, so I think it depends on the quality of the music and the star quality of all the members.

people just have high expectation from BM since tney are from yg which is a house of legendary gg 2ne1 and blackpink. Being top 100 is not comparable with aespa or ıve etc. it is all about expectations

Kiss of life is doing great since their company is small comparing yg, and tbh ı also liked their some songs. plus igloo is their b side English song. When it comes to bm they are the ones to expect to make it big in people's mind. again it is expectations who make people call the BM is a nugu group.

The members are fine! Talented and pretty but I do wish YG did a different concept they mentioned wanting to try a cute concept following SNSD and Twice this would have been the perfect time for a big group to take over and certainly would have given BM their own identity in YG!

You know what, you got me on this one. I went through a trip down memory lane and there was not a single group formed with more than 5 members that pulled off a girls crush concept and actually got good numbers out of it.

If the group was formed, let’s say, only by Asa, Rami, Ruka (pushing hard) and Ahyeon, then the concept would’ve made sense, Korea would get the YGE vibe they’re hungry for and make big numbers possible. Rora, Pharita and Chiquita are such delicate princesses ❤️

They are doing just fine. They do well in Japan + SEA and are shaping up to be YG's first big GG in Japan. Drip was a step in the right direction, BaeMon will only go up.

I don’t think there are any problems with the members, like they cann all sing/rap with no dozens. They are doing fine overseas also.
