Being a blink in 2024!!

This will probably be a little long so read if you want...

I'm a blink since 2016, I was here since their BBHMM video and like, by this video alone I became fascinated with this new gg. I became a kpop fan in 2014 so even though I had so many groups I liked, BP were a special case, idk why, but since day1 of their debut I became a stan, they captivated me so easily. I loved waiting their cbs, I loved "living" their eras like now it's just nostalgia, but being there in every music release was magical, it was fun, it was also a little angry with YGE, but bc of the girls I am still here!!

Not everything was bright, I was one of the most active voices here complaining about every wrong move YGE did or things they didn't and it was a looooot, I remember how at some point to k fans BP "hated" being singers and just wanted to be influencers, I was here saying this was impossible, I knew the girls love music, I knew they love to work in music and after so many years of people doubting and underestimating BP, here we are!

For them to keep doing what they love to do they had to get out of YGE and after so many years of 1, 2, 4, 8 songs a year we got the most package year ever for BP! We already got 3 songs from Lisa, 2 from Jennie and 1 from Rosé and already knowing they'll release their albums as quickly as possible!

It's like I'm living a dream! I'm so biased that I love all their solos releases, sure I have my favorites, but overall I'm genuinely satisfied with everything we got so far bc i know how they wanted this more than us, I know they worked hard for it! So happiness is what I'm feeling as a blink, the same happiness I felt during their debut and cbs. I became a blink bc of their music and I'm still here bc of it! I just want to say that this is a blessing after all the rollercoaster of emotions I felt while they were in YGE!

Can't agree more, I was actually considering making a similar thread! Jennie and BP is what got me into kpop and following their comebacks are truly my most cherished and memorable times as a kpop fan. Honestly I wasnt sure if BP would ever be able to give me this feeling again but with all their recent solo comebacks, the comeback and world tour in 2025, it feels like I did when I first started following them and its like they never even left. We blinks are lucky to be following the greatest group with the greatest members ever.

There's definitely something satisfying about seeing all the music they're releasing (+ how well it's doing) after so many called them influencers that didn't want anything to do with music.. well well well

It's extremely satisfying like they are thriving in the music field and fashion field doing it like nobody in kpop, they chose to dominate everything and others can either love or hate it but one thing is for sure, they are in the top!

Yes, I was worried, but not bc they didn't love music, I just thought they were tired after YGE mismanagement, but I'm glad they proved everyone wrong and are doing what they are the best at: MUSIC!!

These last few days feel like a fever dream - Live Mantra performances by Jennie, Lisa on VS with new songs, Rosie with Bruno Mars?? with expected albums dropping soon from all 3 and Jisoo in early 2025.

None of the new releases match their BP images (neither sonically nor visually) - All of em building and exploring their individual images and killing it.

I remember the uncertainty and fear mongering there was with with their contract news and speculation, i am so glad they all are doing so well.
