This always seemed like one of the saddest and most unfair kpop fandom witch hunts

Sad it ended this way

Riize gained a lot of fans when he wasn't around, so if he comes back, those fans will be upset with all the upcoming 'controversies' that will follow him in the future. His haters have vowed to never stop harassing the whole group as long as he's still there, and the members will keep walking on eggshells to avoid getting dragged into it. When he went on hiatus, all the weird news about the other members also slowly disappeared and the group can finally breath. Deep down, I believe the members are relieved to put an end to all this. Riize is starting to build a good reputation with the general public now too, so it seems like the wisest decision for all parties.

But still, being punished for silly things you did when you were a stupid young teenager isn’t fair. Idols are just normal human beings and have fun before they enter the industry. That haters of him also must coming from a very powerful background for SM unable to touch them.
