I think they sound the same in the sense that there isn't much range in their voices, i don't think anyone is saying the melodies are the same

Not in this thread, but in a broader context, I usually see people who claim to dislike NewJeans' music either describe it as sounding the exact same or diverging too much from their original sound.
I think both are ludicrous statements when their discography isn't that large yet (only 45 minutes total not counting OSTs, remixes, special songs like Gods) and they're not even 2 years old.
But also both statements can't be true either

I like it better than the first 2 releases and im kinda torn between Supernatural and Right Now. But I think i prefer right now. My fave 2024 njs release. And i like it better than super shy/eta as well

Not bad but it could have been very very much better
The instru is so good and so groovy
But their voice doesn't seem to go along
So it makes a weird thing, where if i listen to to only the song i would bop
But in the voice doesn't put the same energy than the instru
I had the same feel with right now
Bop. Bop. Bop. Their best song this year.
Flop. It just sounds droning and monotonous.
This is possibly the most boring song in their entire discography.
Their music this year has been a massive miss quality-wise. Given all the resources Ador has available to them, to come back after a ten month hiatus with these four songs is a really strange decision. Unless they were hoarding their best songs for when they escaped from Hybe and these are just fillers to keep the fans engaged?
