Rumors of the demise of NewJeans have been greatly exaggerated

I make this thread, not (just) to boast but to assuage any fears Bunnies may have that NewJeans has been irreparably damaged in the eyes of the Korean public. It's a topic I've seen come up several times since the Hybe/MHJ war began, so I want to make sure this gets clear visibility and doesn't get buried in the mega thread. For those who think NewJeans are "imploding" or over:

BunniesTaglist BUNNIES!!! Times are tough, and the future is ambiguous, but it's still bright. Regardless of the outcome of this power struggle and legal battle, NewJeans is receiving more love in Korea than ever before, and everybody realizes they are victims of circumstances far beyond their control.

I hope everything is peacefully resolved by the time How Sweet releases, but even if it isn't, NewJeans will survive and thrive.

Hybe name-dropped NewJeans during their earnings call yesterday. They would not sabotage their golden goose and fastest growing company. It would destroy their share price and shareholder confidence.

Of course, that's the company perspective. Fans worry about how the girls are treated behind the scenes and the quality and creativity of their concepts and music and marketing and all the things that separate ADOR from everyone

Honestly, just get MHJ away from the girls, i think this is the best way for NJ to be assured of long term health. The way she said Minji is getting uglier as she gets older is unforgivable. Her obsession with Eurotrash Lolita fiction from the dark ages (circa 1967 ffs) is extremely disturbing. The way she, THEIR LITERAL BOSS, hangs out with 14 year olds alone outside of work is plain jane WEIRD.

MHJ concepts can clearly be copied and copied very successfully (IIIIIT proved it). I think a clean slate with new management would be the best future for NJ.
