I'm confused who speaks English fluently and who doesn't?

Singing without any accent and talking English fluently are two different things, XG only sings in English, only Maya really speaks good English.

Not sure who is who but they definitely do have accent.

No such thing as a fluent accent. As the other poster said, your accent and whether or not you can speak a language fluently are two separate things. There are people with heavy accents that are foreign to any English-speaking country & still speak the language perfectly and vice versa. Speaking of Thai idols, Lisa tries to sound American but her lack of fluency betrays her. I can't think of any others who don't have more of an accent.

I don't think Natty or Haneul are fluent. KIOF was on the DIVE Studios podcast last year. It was the Eric Nam Daebok Show that is typical an interview done in English. Eric ask the girls questions and had to translate them into Korean for Natty and Haneul. They didn't even attempt to answer in English, not even a little bit, for any question in a nearly 1 hour interview. Compare that to Yuqi and Minnie that did the entire interview in English while struggling with some words and pronunciation here and there.

I don't doubt that they can read English, read English aloud when scripted, sing in English, say common phrases, and understand a bit of it, but they clearly cannot freely talk unscripted in English.

Only Belle and Julie are fluent. Natty is proficient. Dunno about the maknae.
