Tbf Twice also shouts "TWICE" quite often in their songs, but not as part of the lyrics, I think Mamamoo does it the same way, I am not sure. However YG acts make it part of the lyrics.

Yeah, that's true. In the case of other groups it's not really part of the lyrics and doesn't feel forced either. When Bigbang or 2NE1 did it was okay, because no one else did it so it was kind of new, but now, it's boring.
Mamamoo has multiple songs where their names are included in the lyrics, but it's more like a bridge harmony, or I don't know how should I call it. 😅

"BlackPINK in your area" is a chant because it's not a line that matches the contents of the song itself, you can replace it with any Name and the song will still make sense.
It's similar to TWICE, Stray Kids, Itzy and NMIXX using their names as part of chants in their songs or the even more famous.....
So I'm not sure how self aware any of it is :P

I am not talking about "In your area" stuff tho, read carefully.
Listen to D4, Pink Venom, Shutdown for example. They randomly use words "black", "pink" and "blackpink" within lyrics.
The "it is black and it is pink once the sun down" from shutdown was pretty smart tbh, that one I liked.
